AI experiments

Things I built with AI in the loop, not opinions about it.

Google Maps for Vacations, a trip planner built in 24 hours

24 hrsConcept to live site

AI × Rapid build

Google Maps for Vacations

A trip planner that treats a holiday as a route problem, not a list of bookmarks. Built solo, start to finish, in a day.

The idea was simple enough to test in a day: people plan holidays the way they plan commutes — around distance, time and what is on the way — but every planning tool hands them a list of saved places instead of a route.

Explored

  • Itinerary as a route, not a list
  • Map-first interaction model
  • Deployed and publicly reachable

What it bought

  • A day is short enough to be wrong in
  • The demo is the spec

Daybreak, a job-search automation tool

In useBy people who are not me

AI × Product

Daybreak

An end-to-end automation of the most monotonous and repetitive parts of a job search.

Daybreak takes the repetitive half of a job search — finding the roles worth reading, keeping the pipeline honest, and remembering what was sent where — and does it in the background.

Explored

  • Agentic job matching
  • Application tracking
  • Shipped and hosted, not a prototype

What it bought

  • The only thing here other people rely on

AI × Video prototyping

Pizza Now

Testing an idea as if it were a shipped product — script, interface and film — in hours rather than sprints.

A futuristic pizza delivery experience using autonomous drones, taken from idea to a film of a finished product. AI generated the script, the interface concepts and the video assets, which is what let the whole thing be visualised at almost no cost.

Explored

  • AI-generated script
  • AI-generated UI
  • AI-generated video

What it bought

  • Low-investment idea demo
  • Quick stakeholder buy-in
  • Concept and scenario testing

AI × Physical prototyping

Pomorobo

A desk assistant built to keep you away from your phone while you work. Laser-cut, wired, and debugged with a model looking over my shoulder.

A standalone productivity tracker on an Arduino, combining a clock, a Pomodoro timer, an alarm and sleep tracking in one physical object. AI was in the loop for ideation, circuit planning, debugging and the code itself.

Explored

  • Laser cutting
  • Physical circuits on an Arduino Uno
  • AI-generated firmware

What it bought

  • Hardware is where a wrong assumption costs you a weekend
